JANUARY 25 – LUNCHEON-MEETING
Attorney Elizabeth Fujiwara
“Is Sexual Harassment a Problem in Hawaii?”An expert in sexual harassment cases, Honolulu civil rights attorney Elizabeth Jubin Fujiwara is the keynote speaker at the Professional Women’s Network luncheon on January 25, 2018. With sexual harassment accusations permeating every industry across America from the White House to Hollywood, and people in all walks of life, we want to know if it is also a problem in Hawaii – and if so, how is it being handled. What is a woman’s (or man’s) recourse? Elizabeth Jubin Fujiwara, Esq. received her J.D. from the William S. Richardson School of Law, where she was on law review. Afterwards, she clerked for Judge Walter Heen at the Intermediate Court of Appeals (ICA). In 1986, Ms. Fujiwara founded her own law firm, which is considered by some to have been the vanguard of employment law in Hawaii. Attend the January 25th Professional Women’s Network luncheon. Meet Elizabeth Fujiwara and learn what is considered sexual harassment in the eyes of the law. Bring your business cards and a guest. You just might win a free lunch in February.
